Evaluation
I wanted to do my newsletter absolutely understandable for my audience.That is why I choose a simple cover and a little bit of colour. Because in a newsletter most importantly its information is on the cover. The people who will read this newsletter they can see that its very correct information from a reliable source.
Throughout my newsletter my colour-scheme consisted of three main colours; white, light rose and light purple. All of the fonts are typically newsletter as they are in bold and stand out on the page which attracts the reader to the specified article.That is why I did it in my cover for newsletter,because there need to be more important information to attract readers. All of my images are Medium close-ups.
My product challenges the existing conventions of college magazines/ newsletters by using a photo of a person in a educational environment but just in a normal clothes. I did a title,with the big font on the top of my college magazine cover.Thats means that i want atrract audience with the title aswell.
This college magazine would be distributed by colleges , schools and other educational institutions.
The target audience of my magazine are males and females aged 16-21. It will be mostly students, especially those who are planning to go to university after college.
I would atrract my audience with the many things,First one its just my cover.That means that my colours need should be simple.I choose very light colours light purple and light pink colour.With the mix its looks very good.Strong and distinguish for the audience.Second one its a blubrs in the cover.I had about 4 burlbs in my cover,and about 5 in my contents page.Thats means that the most important information I was showing on the front.And for the audience will be interesting choose just one or two interested them topics and read about them in more detail.
During this task I had to used technology for the main process of creating my magazine. I had to use InDesign to create the layout. I also had to use Photoshop for image processing. I also used an interactive blog to register my progress and explain how far I was getting on with the creation on my newsletter.

Hi Im Anastasia.Im student in Reading college.Im study media aswell,that is why I would like to share my opinion about this college magazine. I think it really captures the student spirit by being so simple but at the same time very full of useful information. The cover page represent what student life is about and it really catches a young persons attention. It is really good that the author chose to use an attractive model on the cover because it makes the magazine look more sophisticated.
